• Participation in the competition for the Mia award involves the completion of the Application Form and the collection of documents that demonstrate how your company works with diversity and equal opportunities for all employees, together with the results you have achieved.

• In connection with writing the application, The Danish Institute for Human Rights offers to visit your company, guide you through the application form and discuss what might be considered relevant documents when aspiring for the Mia award. This visit will facilitate the completion of the application form and at the same time give the companies determined knowledge on the foundations of the award. If you decide to apply for the award you are welcome to contact Signe Hinz Andersen at 0045 32698969, or send an e-mail to sha@humanrights.dk if you have any inquiries or wish to set up a company visit.

• After the completion of the form, you can send it to The Danish Institute for Human Rights by e-mail. Relevant documents and a copy of the application form can be sent to the Danish Institute for Human Right by mail. The competition for the MIA Award 2011 opened 6th of October 2010.
